Leadership & Strategy
Develop and execute recruitment strategy for South Africa aligned with global hiring goals.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of local recruiters.
Partner with global HR and department leaders to forecast hiring needs.
Establish relationships with local universities, professional associations, and talent networks.
* Champion localized employer branding to attract top South African talent.
Recruitment Operations
Oversee full-cycle recruitment for roles across departments and seniority levels.
Build robust talent pipelines, with a strong focus on South African professionals.
Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and employment equity guidelines.
Utilize global ATS platforms and hiring tools to drive recruitment efficiency.
Monitor key metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates.
Design localized onboarding and candidate experience strategies.
* Organize and lead recruitment events, job fairs, and internship initiatives.
Reporting & KPIs
Provide regular reports to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition
Monthly hiring dashboards
SLA compliance metrics
Workforce planning updates
Maintain performance KPIs:
Time-to-fill: 5–10 days for standard roles
Offer acceptance rate: >80%
90-day retention rate: >95%
Quarterly pipeline readiness
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience within South Africa.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of South African labor regulations and equity compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
SABPP certification.
Experience in BPO, shared services, or high-volume hiring.
Familiarity with remote and international recruitment best practices.
Proficiency in additional South African languages.
* Hands-on experience with global ATS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lever).
