Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated Production Artists to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately redrawing and preparing customer-submitted artwork for high-quality print production. You will convert a variety of design submissions into print-ready files using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring all visual assets meet our brand and production standards.
This role requires consistency, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple design tasks efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with other team members and maintain daily targets for quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Artwork Preparation
- Redraw customer-submitted artwork for optimal print quality using Adobe Illustrator.
- Make necessary design adjustments to meet print production standards.
- Ensure all files are clean, well-organized, and production-ready.
Quality & Accuracy
- Maintain high accuracy in design execution and visual alignment.
- Follow established processes and design guidelines consistently.
- Self-review and double-check artwork for any issues before finalizing.
Collaboration & Workflow
- Communicate clearly with team members on specific tasks and order requirements.
- Manage time efficiently to meet daily productivity expectations.
- Support other team functions as needed to ensure overall workflow success.
Measures of Success
- Quality of Work – Accuracy and clarity of finalized production files.
- Productivity – Meeting or exceeding daily redraw or file conversion targets.
- Team Contribution – Active collaboration and positive engagement with the team.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (latest version preferred).
- High attention to detail and design accuracy.
- Experience working in a Mac OS environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Confidence in creating vector artwork using a mouse.
- Strong time management skills in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
- Previous production or graphic design experience.
- Familiarity with digital design workflows and remote collaboration tools.
Work Conditions
- Location: Remote (Full-Time)
